Custom evaluation
STIHL products are generally distributed through the service-providing specialist trade. In addition to the specialist trade, customers should be provided with an online shop, which is also intended to be expanded internationally in the coming years. In order to offer customers not only an online shop, but also a good consultation experience, STIHL has opted for our solution, the Digital Product Selector. The aim was to enable customers to have an optimal customer journey and consultation around the clock and thus enhance the shopping experience.
The STIHL Product Battery Advisor
The battery advisor is integrated on the STIHL website and now offers professionals in gardening and landscaping, municipalities, and janitorial services a quick and easy way to find out online which battery-powered devices and charging solutions best suit their tasks. The advisory tool asks for specific activities, device categories, and usage times and calculates an individual recommendation based on this. In addition, the customer also receives suitable alternative suggestions and information on which battery products, how many batteries, and which charging infrastructure they specifically need. The selection can then be added to the shopping cart. Not only customers, but also specialist retailers benefit from the digital battery advisor, as the advisory process is simplified.
The tool creates more transparency about the battery technology of STIHL
The STIHL battery advisor is particularly characterized by the fact that it consistently implements the most important basic principle for the company, sustainability. STIHL not only modifies existing products and develops new ones, but also consistently implements their sustainability approach in sales by, among other things, drawing attention to suitable alternatives and creating more transparency about battery consumption.
The tool shows the costs for the assembled equipment fleet and the required batteries and chargers. In doing so, the customer receives a cost comparison of the proposed equipment selection including ongoing operating costs versus the costs of comparable petrol products. The economic calculation is also intended to support the customer in making a purchase decision.
